Brookfield Place New York City

I have been curious about Brookfield Place in downtown New York City. Brookfield place is also known as the World Financial Center, a complex of office buildings. New luxury stores from Hermes to J. crew to Tory Burch to Theory and more opened in March 2015. There is a French Marketplace called Le District with a patisserie, chocolatier, full-service restaurant and more which opened in the same building at the same time. I hear good things about the place often. Also, the fancy food court which offers a choice from sushi to hamburgers. The great thing about this place is that you can see great views from huge windows from almost any place in the building. Also, there are many free events happening here. Especially great are the kid's events on the weekends. They will have a kid's Haloween party on Halloween! And they will open an Ice skating rink on November 14th.
Winter in NYC is cold and long. I think this place is a great place for a family to hang-out on a weekend. Go to ice skate, join a kid's event, get a nice lunch and hopefully, Mom can sneak out for a little bit of shopping. Does it sound's nice? ずっと気になったいたBrookfield Placeに、先日行って来ました。Brookfield Placeのビルは、上は企業などが入ったオフィスビルディングで、１−２階は、エルメス、Jクルー、トリーバーチ、セオリーなどのラグジュアリーブランドが入ったお店が今年２０１５年３月にオープンしました。そして、今話題になっているベーカリー、チョコレート屋さん、レストランなどが入っているフレンチマーケットLe Districtも同時期にオープンし、そしてこのビル内には、ニューヨークで人気のお寿司屋さんや、ハンバーガーショップが集まったフードコートもあります。この、Brookfield Placeで一番良いなって思った事は、ビルの何処にいても大きい窓が近くにあり、とても綺麗な景色が見える事。そして、無料で開催されるイベントが常時行われている事。特に週末は子供向けのイベントが充実しています。ハロウィンの日にはハロウィンパーティーが開催されるそうですよ。そして、１１月１４日からスケートリンクも開場されます。ニューヨークの冬は長くて寒い！このBrookfield Placeは、寒い冬の週末などに家族で過ごすのに良い場所だと思います。アイススケートを楽しみ、子供向けのイベントに参加した後は、カジュアルなニューヨークで人気なレストランのランチを食べ、そして、時間が出来たらお母さんはちょっと買い物に行く。良い感じよね？私が先日Brookfield Placeに遊びに行った時に、このフードコートの寿司に挑戦してみたので、そのレビューは次回のブログにて報告しますね。お楽しみに！
