Mom And Son Denim On Denim Styling

This winter has been relatively mild in NYC. I can't wait for Spring and Spring fashion. Today, we both are wearing Denim on Denim. Today's styling points are the denim jackets. My jacket is an 80's vintage jacket. My son has a cape on the back of his jacket. The cape was cut from his old T-shirt from when he was a baby. I cut the t-shirt and sewed it on the back of the jacket. He was so happy that his old t-shirt became a super hero cape. We both are wearing ripped denim pants and rock style boots. I love fashion and I would like to teach my son to be original, and to be original is a good thing. I also want to teach him that you can show your identity and express yourself through fashion.

今年のニューヨークは暖冬で、私は、もう春物を着たくって仕方がない：）今日は、親子で、デニムオンデニムコーデ。このコーデのポイントは二人とも個性的なデニムジャケットを着た事。私のジャケットは８０年代のヴィンテージもの。そして、息子のジャケットの後ろにはマントがついているんやけど、コレは、彼が赤ちゃんの時に着ていたTシャツを切って縫い付けたもの。自分が着ていたTシャツがスーパーヒーローみたいなマントになった！と息子は大喜びでした。それから、二人ともダメージ加工のデニムに、ロックなブーツでリンクコーデ。私はファッション大好き。私が息子に教えたい事は、ファッションを通じて自己表現が出来るんだって事。誰かの真似をするんではなく、自分が思うままに好きな服を着ればいいんだよって事を伝えて行きたいなって思っています。
