My last blog topic was about my son who made his original batik design bag at Hiho Batik in Brooklyn. This post is a follow up about their retail space. Hiho Batik has a cute retail store in the front of the design studio. The products are all batik designs, and each one is made by hand in the design studio. Because of the batik technique, each design looks a little bit different, even if it is the same design. This is truly a one of a kind custom product we like to support.
私の前回のブログ記事は、ブルックリンにあるHiho Batikにて、息子自身がデザイン&ペイントした鞄を作った記事でしたが、そのHiho Batikのデザインスタジオの前にとても可愛い子供服やさんが併設されています。この可愛い子供服はここのお店の裏でひとつひとつデザインされ、手染めされたもの。だから、同じデザインであっても、ちょっと染め具合が違ったりとひとつひとつ感じが違って個性的。こういった世界でたったひとつだけの物を売るお店を私達は応援します！
