East village Vintage Eyewear Store - Fabulous Fannys

I love glasses! I have many pairs of glasses and I pick the glasses I wear based on my mood and fashion of the day. When I want to be stylish, I choose vintage glasses. The great thing about vintage glasses is that you may not find the same design as the current trend in glasses, so it will make your look more special and unique. Changing  glasses could change your whole image. That's why picking glasses is important and interesting. Today, I'd like to introduce this vintage glasses shop called Fabulous Fanny's. This store is located in our lovely East Village community. When you enter this store, you will feel like you entered a vintage glasses museum. The oldest glasses they have is from 1700'! It's fun to try many different kinds of vintage glasses and they will let you do that. Many glasses are affordable in price. The people who work there are all friendly and kind, and will give you great advice on how to pick the right glasses for you. Another reason I'm recommending to visit this place is that they may move from this location soon.  Many special and unique stores like Fabulous Fanny's have to move due to the sky high rents in Manhattan. One reason I love the East Village is that there are still many small businesses that sell something special. We would like to keep these type of stores in the East Village to keep the East Village interesting! 私の好きなファッションアイテムは、ヴィンテージ、ブーツ、帽子、そしてメガネ。メガネは、その日のファッションや、気分によってフレームを選ぶ程、いろんな種類のメガネを持っています。オシャレにしたい時はヴィンテージフレームがやっぱり一番。ヴィンテージメガネの良い所は、現在のデザインと少し違う物が多く、今、大勢の人がかけているタイプのメガネと同じ感じにはならないからとても特別感があり、個性的なオシャレをしたい日にぴったり。メガネを変えるだけで、全体の印象がかなり変わる。メガネ選びってとても重要。だから、メガネって面白い。今日は、私のおすすめのヴィンテージメガネ屋さんFabulous Fannys の紹介です。お店の場所は、私達の愛するコミュニティーEast Village。お店の中に入るとそこはまるでミュージアムのよう。古い物では１７００年代のヴィンテージメガネのコレクションが見れ、そして、気軽に手に取って試着する事が出来る楽しい場所。お店の人達もとてもフレンドリーで親切。気軽に買えるお値段のヴィンテージメガネがたくさんあります。そして、私がこのお店を紹介してぜひ遊びに行っていただきたい理由は、このお店が移転するかもしれないからです。East Village、ニューヨーク全体の家賃が高騰し、こういった他では買えない、見れないようなものを売る特別な個人経営のお店が家賃を払えなくなり、次々と閉店しています。私がEast Villageを愛する理由の一つは、こんな特別なお店がたくさんあるから。こんな特別なお店達を長くEast Villageに残す為にも、みんなにぜひお店に遊びに行って欲しいな。Rock Mama NYCでは、これからも、East Villageにある、個性的でオシャレなお店を紹介していきたいと思いますのでお楽しみに！
